Specification
1. Polypropylene is an odourless, tasteless, non-toxic and lightweight granule or powder with a relatively low density (0.89-0.91g/cm3).
2. Polypropylene has a high melting temperature, good heat resistance, continuous use up to 120°C and can be sterilised at high temperatures. The melting point of homopolymer polypropylene is approximately 168°C and typical random copolymers have a melting point in the range of 145-151°C.
3. Polypropylene has excellent mechanical properties such as yield strength, tensile strength, impact strength, surface hardness, rigidity and abrasion resistance, as well as good transparency and surface gloss.
4. Polypropylene has good electrical insulation and a small dielectric constant.
5, polypropylene is not easy to absorb water, very easy to thermal oxidation and discolouration degradation, so polypropylene powder to add antioxidant system.
6, polypropylene has good resistance to stress cracking, in addition to strong oxidising agents and non-polar solvents, has a strong resistance to chemical erosion.
