Cetearyl alcohol and cetearyl glycosides
White solid crystals, granular or waxy lumps, with a fragrance. Melting point 48 ~ 50 °C, boiling point 344 °C. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform and mineral oil. It has a sulfonation reaction with concentrated sulfuric acid and does not have a chemical effect in the face of strong alkalis. It has the effect of inhibiting the greasy feeling, reducing the viscosity of wax raw materials, and stabilizing the cosmetic latex body.
